In the same year, LT Systems was absolute winner in the 99 VBITS Development
Contest, held in San Francisco, USA, competing with more than fifty
developments worldwide. The winner system, LT Web Medic, was designed for
handling clinical histories and it icluded the most recent technologies at
the time for distributed applications.
In 1999, LT Systems merged with Soteica, a specialized consultant in the
implementation of computer science technology for the chemical and
petrochemical industry, having as clients the most important oil companies
in Latin America: Repsol-YPF, Petrobras, Petrox (Chile), PetroPerú,
PetroEcuador, PEMEX (Mexico), Pedevesa (Venezuela) and Pecom (Argentina),
as well as companies from Europe and USA.
In this context, Arq. Tealdi, working as Software Development Director,
was involved in the implementation of an e-commerce and supply chain project,
integrating J.D.Edwards, Siebel, Picaso and Ariba, for the PECOM Energy
company, now belonging to Petrobras.
He also takes part in the implementation of the central systems for
Repsol-YPF industrial laboratories throghout Argentina.
At the beginning of 2004, along with other members of the LT Systems'
original team, and a group of new developers, Arq. Tealdi founds Supplest.
