From 1993, LT Systems works in the development of applications for
clinical laboratories. These systems were selected as finalists in
the Windows World Open Contest, held in Atlanta, USA, in 1997 and
whose prizes are handed personally by Bill Gates.
Other finalist companies in this contest, were, among others, Hewlett
Packard, BankBoston, Merrill Lynch and the USA Air Force. This was the
first time in which an Argentine company was selected as finalist, in
the six years the contest was held.
During 1997-1998, Arq. Tealdi led the development of LT Broadcast
System, created for broadcasting stations operation. This operation
could be manual or automatic, local or remote. This system was also
selected as finalist in the Windows World Open Contest, held in Chicago,
USA, in April 1998, being winner in the Comunications category, competing
with the Southern New England Telecommunication Corp and DigitalXpress,
a subsidiary of the Boeing Company.
In 1999 the development team was again finalist for a third year in a
row in the Windows World Open Contest, held in Chicago, USA, with a
system of quality control for electrical energy distribution companies,
at the moment implemented in Argentina and Venezuela.
