PLC, Nestle USA, Shell Western, Merck, Procter & Gamble and JD Edwards.
Mr. Alan Cooper, the father of Visual Basic, was also member of the jury.
In the eighth and last edition of Windows World Open, in Chicago, LT Net
Analyzer software, developed for an electrical energy distribution company
of Argentina, was selected as one of the three finalists in the
'Energy/Utilities' category, along with the american companies Nicor Gas
and Petroleum Center Inc. This applicacion, aimed at the service quality
control of energy distribution, is also used in the electrical distribution
company in Margarita Island, Venezuela, belonging to the american group
CMS Energy.
In the same year, in San Francisco, USA, LT Web Medic was the winner at
the VBITS Software Contest (Visual Basic Insider´s Technical Summit),
competing at the final stage with applications created by General Electric
Financial Services y Questar InfoComm, selected from among more than fifty
developments worldwide.
