The Supplest development team has been awarded with prizes in numerous occasions in international software development contests.

In the sixth edition of Windows World Open, held in Atlanta, USA, in April 1997, the team was finalist in the ‘Process Control Systems’ category, with an application aimed at the clinical and administrative management for a network of biochemical laboratories.

In 1998, it won the first prize in the ‘Communications’ category in the seventh edition of Windows World Open, held at Comdex Spring ’98 in Chicago, USA. The awarded application –LT Broadcast System- defeated the other two finalists, DigitalXpress (a Boeing subsidiary) y Southern New England Telecommunications Corp.

It was the first time that an Argentine company won this contest, which is considered the most important in the world concerning Windows platform development, and whose prizes are personally handed by Bill Gates.

Companies and Institutions like Hewlett Packard, BankBoston, Merrill Lynch, First National Bank of Chicago, US Navy, Chevron, Andersen Consulting, BASF, Intel, Continental Airlines, among others, were usual participants in this contest.
